Interface
• New in game menu system.
• Integrated server control screen.
• Server control screen can control Remote or Local server.
• Added ‘High Ping’ kick to server control screen.
• Server list only shows “Active” OE servers.
• Added ability to turn off unit highlights (arrows) on server control screen.
• Player lives can be limited from 1 to infinity. (server-side selectable).
• Lockdown mode can allow or prevent late joins to either team server-side.
Visuals
• Scoreboard class icons are improved.
• Four classes of soldiers: Rifleman, Demo/Engineer, Support and Sniper
o Demo Kit added.
• Ready-Up Feature: Class icons in the scoreboard turn red or green in prewar to indicate:
o Green indicates who has selected ready.
o Red indicates not ready.
• Class icons in the scoreboard turn red once a player is eliminated during play.
• Added different characters and cammo for Blue and Red team.
• First Person weapon view.
Arms and weapon are removable from first person view (client side option for on/off).
• Weapon icons remain visible at bottom of screen.
• Added helmets and “boonie” hats to the different teams for better visual recognition.
• Crosshair identification of teammates always appears. Enemy names never appear.
• Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) markers can be switched on or off (server-side selectable).
• In-Game command map view.
Game Play
• Two of the Original FarCry Game Types:
o Assault
o Free for All (FFA)
• Three New Game Types:
o Last Man Standing (LMS)
o Very Important Person (VIP)
o Domination (DOM)
• Binocular effects improved, no standard FarCry motion sensing or sound enhancement any more.
• Bullet Damage spin is now included
(if you don't know what this is, you'll find out as soon as you're shot).
• Added lasting effect of damage to aim accuracy.
• Walk speed, run speed and stamina revised to be more realistic.
• New night-vision has been implemented...just use your standard key-bind to turn it on

• Damage scale raised from 1 to 1.25.
• Headshot multiplier raised from 2 to 4.
• In prewar, guns don't shoot.
• Auto-start timer added for PreWar in VIP and LMS.
• Different player models for each soldier class.
• Command map feature added.
• Maps can change or remain the same at the end of a game (server side selectable).
• Maps repeat count.
• Game can be locked down so that late joiners to the game must spectate (server side selectable).
• Game stays in PreWar mode until everyone hits the "Ready" button.
o Required in LMS and VIP games, server side selectable for other games.
• “Ready Up” Feature
• Static or Random respawns, Random allows four sets of spawn points to be selected randomly.

• Number of deaths per person is a server side selection.
• Dead players just lie there until a restart, unless respawns are on.
• Dead players can only spectate live players on their own team.
• You have the ability to surf only your teammates as a spectator.
• Spectator view adjusted to be closer to the view of the player they are spectating.
• Night Vision Goggles (NVG) & Binoculars are standard kit items for all players.
